This is the standard two way flying machine I use in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. I don't believe it's possible to make it simpler or to use fewer blocks while still working reliably and independently.

This is an iteration of other designs that are out there. I've seen others who came to the same conclusion and design, tho I designed this for myself before I found theirs.
