If you have been following along with my lawn vlog this season you are well aware of my unfortunate pythium outbreak. In attempt to reduce the damage I have opted to dethatch my lawn. I have never used a dethather before so this is a learning curve for me and I was really happy with the result. Tons of organic matter was removed from my lawn and now it can breathe much easier and dry out, hopefully with a little cooperation from the weather we can move on from this and get back to dominating the neighborhood. Right now I have by far the worst lawn in town.
