Dear World,
Our Moon was not always that small in the sky. And the tides were once a ferocious force that slowed the rotation of the earth down. Let´s do a trip into the past and do an Earth Moon Distance Comparison. It is pretty far away and keeps on moving away from us. If the James Webb Space Telescope launch works out fine, it will still be placed further away than the Moon. :)
