I took a walk in Shinjuku Gyoen in early spring.
The cherry blossoms were still in bud and had not yet bloomed.
The expected blooming date of cherry blossoms in Tokyo in 2022 is March 21, which is still 17 days away.
Plum and Kawazu cherry trees were blooming in the park.
After the renovation work was completed, the sidewalks were paved with asphalt in more areas, making it easier to walk.
