I wanted to remake a battle with the early roman army as close to realisty as possible. I have found a mod in steam workshop with etruscan army (which basically was early roman army) so i have a try. I have even used a mod to fix the oplon shieldsmaking them bigger and hold more or less correctely.
Numbers are very close to reality, since i have about 6000 men in total (30 units of 160 men and 10 of 120) with 5000 forming the hoplite line and 1000 light infantry, where early roman legion was made by 6000 men + 2500 lightly armored.
