MENACE is the brand-new sci-fi tactics game from Overhype Studios, the creators of Battle Brothers. It's now in early access and we can start our playthrough. In this early access release, I take a first look at what makes MENACE the spiritual successor to Battle Brothers, but with a gritty hard-sci-fi twist: squad-based combat, and brutal permanent death. The full release will see a strategic layer with a mobile strike cruiser, and decisions that shape the galaxy.

MENACE is heading into Early Access on PC in Feb 5th, and it already looks like a must-play for turn-based strategy fans.

Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc).
