Uncanny Valley Woods | Early 20th Century Oak Dresser Restoration Part Two @uncannyvalleywoods7248 | Uploaded March 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
This is an early 20th Century American Imperial reproduction. Clues suggest it was built in Bridgton Maine, in 1916. The case is solid quarter sawn white oak with quarter sawn white oak veneer. The finish is mostly intact, with a shocking amount of orange shellac present on the piece. Large portions of veneer were sadly removed by the previous owner and need to be replaced and the finish matched.
