I've been waiting to get this since they first announced the catalyst, and as suspected, it brings grapple flying to all classes. It's about as good as it once was on Hunter alone. If you've not been running the dungeon, perhaps you may want to just for the drop chance.
This allows for infinite flight. Despite needing to spend ammo to reload, you'll eventually get pity ammo, so long as your heavy ammo is half or below. You should get a refresh before you even run out. Just don't run a kinetic ammo weapon if you think you might spend all your Navigator ammo.

It's a tool we've never had before, so it may be a while before we know it's full power. Can it break the box? Can it work on regular loads? We just don't know.
Thanks to everyone at RaidSecrets that's been helping out with testing here. Aulodian hit the Bay wrong load which kicked off this hunt. Adelaide and Denevik helped test Quagmire, and I think Henry did some Henry things. Plus a bunch of other people helped investigate on the RaidSecrets discord. It'll be neat to see what we can end up doing with this...

Thanks to DotSlashFrag for exploring with me to get back up to Ahsa out of map. Turns out grapple was the answer, and that means you're probably gunna want to be on a strand hunter, though the new dungeon exotic might make it a bit more flexible if you're lucky enough to have it.

Thanks to Skyshock and Denevik for exploring with me here. Always nice to explore with a fireteam. You find stuff 3x as fast ;)
We've got tons of Donut Monsters returning. I always like seeing those. There are some swamp versions on Savathun's Throneworld, but at least until Final Shape we can see the ones on Titan. Dunno if they're in the Gambit map. I always forget that exists...

I'd recommend a Titan for this one. You can do it solo, but if you don't want to do the fallback method, I'd bring a buddy for a Hub IRB for load zone safety. For the fallback you'll need Salvation's Grip and Stasis.

When Bungie changed Last Wish to remove public zones, I was worried we'd never be able to do the route again, but thanks to something Aulodian did while goofing off in a speedrun, we've got a method. I did a bit of investigation and managed to get a consistent repro. There's a whole lot more to it, but for now, here's how you can reach Shattered Throne again, without needing any pesky sparrows ;)
Thanks to Skyshock for helping me out with the run, and @A2TC for sharing @aulodian clip with me.

It's not fast, but it will get you where you want to go... Eventually.
Simply cancel your grenade quickly while not moving too fast, and you'll keep up your normal grenade regen. I've seen kickstart work occasionally, but you might need a buddy for that. Multiple people can speed it up, but give more chances to lose a grapple to hitting an ally. But it also lets you recover should you offend your in air grenade charging, which likes to scurry away if you so much as think about stasis climbing.

Thanks to Adelaide for finding the hole in the death barrier to get up the funnel, and Henry for helping with the exploration. Gerbsnail provided some Charm exports that let me path a simple route through the darkness to the Elevator funnel.
Salvo and Dishur did the synbox and sparrow flight up to Adytum, saving me a load of grapple climbing :D
Sadly there still is no path up there without a box break as the second funnel Adelaide found is blocked by some rocks...
If you'd like to skip the route through the darkness, here is a clip of Adelaide's barrier push route:
youtu.be/FkWEnZ-S0Xs
However, our Corrupted Quest is not yet done. We still need to reach Nonascendant and Ascendant boss arenas. It's probably possible to Vesper Synbox to both, but that is a most unpleasant route. A funnel would be much nicer, if we can find such a thing. Seems we make progress every year or two. This route is not yet in it's final shape ;)

This box break took a bit of work to figure out. Sadly it requires something of an exotic checkpoint. Post third encounter, before you reach boss. Not one you're likely to be able to grab off of someone unless they went out of their way to acquire it. But next time you run Root of Nightmares, perhaps change characters after 3rd encounter to keep it around.

There's a pesky door that prevents us from going to far in Veil Containment, and you can't seem to hit the load out of map, so we're gunna use an IRB. Luckily every campaign mission is just full of autorezzes, so that's no problem at all. Thanks to Salvo and Fluup for pointing out the hole to get behind the load. And Timbouton for showing me the nice hole for retrying.
You can also venture within the Veil itself. Well... sorta. You can do it on any character. If you wanna jump around at the top of it outside the catwalk, you'll probably need to IRB there directly. I'll leave that as an exercise for the viewer.

The Boss, as expected, is immune. And the tunnel, also as expected, is in the edge of the box. This makes the trip pretty short lived, but it was cool to see that the boss will actually interact with you if you're in the tube, although mostly just in a pretty stompy sort of way. Plus you can see its name and healthbar. Totally worth the effort ;)

This zone was datamined via Charm, and has never appeared in game. Most likely it's cut content from launch. Spectr3 theorizes it was originally tied to the Infinite Forest, which seems pretty reasonable to me given the name and Vex-iness of it. Perhaps originally it was going to be on Nessus before it was moved to Mercury for an expansion.
You'll need a box break to get there. Currently, either Sync Box or Balance Box, though afterwards people can IRB there.
Thanks to Edragyz for finding this, along with Salvo, Fluup, and Spectr3 who also participated in the hunt. Bonus mention to Gerbsnail, who may've spotted it back in the Drop Box days, but didn't realize what it was. And Bachmanetti for helping me get the footage for this video.

I think this is finally the end of the line for the Geosynchronous Orbit series. We've gotten pretty much to everything we've seen. If you didn't see the first two parts, they give more details and context for some parts of the route.
Part 1: youtu.be/hrtBjX54eZM
Part 2: youtu.be/IwbmuHy67Zw
To break out of the box, you'll either want to use Syncbox or Balance Box.
Syncbox guide: youtu.be/H4PfRXZnll4
Balance Box guide: youtu.be/_G4TnT4KHL8
You'll want 3 people for this. With two people you can get one to the end, but three people lets you all go. Not sure if this is a part of Seraph's Shield, but it might be later on.
Thanks to Salvo for performing the Balance Box we used in this video. Gerbsnail and A2TC helped me confirm that a Double Vesper Syncbox would work as well.
The video doesn't explicitly show the setup for the Double Vesper Syncbox, so I'll describe the steps here:
You have a rider, a launcher, and an observer who doubles as a second launcher. Rider should be at low frames, launchers should be at high frames.
Step 1: Launchers line up on a ledge.
Step 2: Rider slowly pushes Launchers off ledge so that they only fall on rider's screen.
Step 3: Rider places sparrow in front of launchers.
Step 4: Both Launchers deploy a rift using Vesper of Radius. Launchers must be looking away from the sparrow to ensure it is desynced. Observer must be synced with the other launcher (sees them as on the ledge still)
Step 5: Once sparrow is in desired location Observer signals the rider and resyncs the sparow by zooming in on it with a high zoom sniper.
Step 6: If Rider is out of box, you have done it! If not, return to step 3.

You'll need at least two people, with one of them having Code of the Missile on Titan. Stasis helps, as it nearly always does. For how to get the first person out of box, you'll want to use this video as a guide: youtu.be/hrtBjX54eZM
Once one person is out, you can IRB out everyone else. For Security Sector, you need to hit a pretty precise thundercrash. With Hub-IRB, you don't need to survive the load luckily, so you can remove a lot of potential pain. Others can then join you by dismounting through some doors as they die to place their ghosts out of map for you to rez them. From there, you're free to explore...

You'll want to hold on to that weekly mission on at least one character, 'cause once you do it you have to wait until next week. We're certainly going back, and you can always join on another player, so don't stress to much if you did it already. It's important to note that in the weekly mission, you don't join in the zone the leader is in, you join at the start, or current mission progression point.

Been doing a lot of exploration in the first weekly mission. We'll start off with getting out of the first area you go to. There's some neat stuff to see out there :D

Tons of people helped out. Super tired and it's the day before the new expansion, so not listing them all here just yet. It's gunna be a bit before the tutorial is ready, especially with whatever new stuff we have coming out tomorrow, but in the mean time, you can see the moment it happened :D
(This is where you get sent inbetween Oryx damage phases when he summons the big blight)
Thanks to Spectr3 for showing me the new route :D Will make future trips to Hangman's Pass much easier. Should work well for Lake of Shadows from patrol as well.

There's still some lighting effects, and an extension to the box of push barriers surrounding Hallowed Grove. There's even a small funnel connecting it! Always exciting to hit a funnel.

I took a break from practicing sparrow flying to break out of Extraction. Was pretty quick to figure out, but there's some pretty cool stuff out there. Definitely worth taking a look on your own if you have a few minutes to spare ;)
