A flexible-fuel system is one that’s fitted to a vehicle, enabling it to operate on regular unleaded fuel or a blend - of regular unleaded and up to 85% ethanol fuel. This ingenious system utilises a “Fuel Composition Sensor” that reports the alcohol content of the vehicles fuel to the ECM.
