SOLUTION: Fuse #15 in the glovebox is apparently responsible for the oil level sensor and diagnostics port. Felix replaced this fuse and the oil level sensor is operating normally! The battery light also went off. Thanks to everyone who viewed this video and left their valuable feedback!

Here's a weird one. I've been helping Felix with his 2002 BMW M5, but I am now coming to the community to ask for more advice. Please continue reading:
Symptoms: Red battery light on cluster. Oil temp sensor constantly reporting maximum temperature (207 degrees). Battery voltage is measured at 14v.
Steps taken so far: The oil level and temperature sensor has been replaced with an OEM BMW sensor. Test #21 (cluster reset) has been executed on the instrument cluster. Battery has been disconnected from the vehicle overnight. None of this has changed the oil sensor problem.
Does Felix have a bad instrument cluster? Did he get a bad sensor from BMW? We would very much appreciate your thoughts! Thanks guys.
