Part three of our journey from Naburn to Castleford. We had only planned to travel as far as Selby but we just kept going. 33 miles and just 7 locks in total.
In this video we leave the bleak and polluted Bank Dole lock at the junction with the River Aire and the Aire & Calder Navigation and we travel through Knottingley on the cut, then its through Ferry Bridge and back down onto the river which involved getting George down a ladder. Back on the River for the final push to Castleford.
