10 minute Yoga for Excellent POSTURE

Reduce & prevent Neck & Shoulders tension associated with headaches with this completely seated, all-levels Chair Yoga for Headache routine. This video was designed to be accessible for beginners, seniors, desk workers, prenatal, postnatal (details below), and those in pain or with low energy and/or low mobility.
You’ll loosen your neck, shoulder, chest, and upper back with gentle, deep stretches and spinal flows then finish with an eye yoga technique for relieving eye strain.
*TOO BRIGHT?* If you have an eye mask, and you've done this video before or you're familiar with the poses, then I recommend doing the entire practice with your eye mask on or in total darkness. Remember to continuously relax the muscles in your face, jaw, neck, shoulders, and hands throughout the video and for the rest of your day.

To deeply relax into our final savasana we used a breathing technique called the Physiological Sigh. It is a tool you can use to instantly turn on your parasympathetic nervous system and most people can feel a wave of relaxation within 20 seconds of practicing the sigh 3 times, like how we do it in savasana. You can learn more about the Physiological Sigh through Dr. Huberman’s podcast about Stress on his YouTube channel.

Rise & shine with this full body morning yoga flow, the Sun C flow from the full length 45 minute RISE Yoga Class in the SarahBethYoga APP. Rise & shine with this full body morning yoga flow. You’ll set an intention and loosen up your neck, shoulders and spine and set an intention before setting up your Sun B flow with longer ~3 breath holds, then repeating 1 breath 1 movement. You'll warm up with neck and shoulder stretches and a gentle spinal flow, then move into modified lunges, warriors, and gentle twists all completely supported by your chair. I provide modifications and progressions so you can start in a safe space and work your way up as you get stronger and more flexible with each practice. Great for beginners, seniors, desk workers, prenatal, postnatal (details below), recovery, and those with low energy and/or low mobility.
-PRENATAL & POSTNATAL This video & the entire CHAIR collection are Prenatal & Postnatal friendly. Just modify the lunges, warriors, and twists for less intensity and less stretching (it's easy to overstretch when using a chair)

Simply find a place on the floor to rest in these low energy, low effort, relaxing yoga for grief, loss & broken heart poses like supine twists, wind, and savasana. It doesn't sound like much but it might be exactly what you need right now.

Prenatally, you will need to modify the supine twists and savasana at the end with milder twists and a side-lying savasana.
