Truthseeker - Happy Birthday Abhi! ♥ Camille 2018-03-30 | Heyy so this is a little something I worked on for my bf’s bday. I chose this song for a specific reason and I kind of want to explain what I tried to do with the amv.So these are the lyrics :I felt as if I recently hit rock bottom. I was kind of a well run dry, or so to speak. The end is always so hard to imagine but it's easy to be excited for the process. Don't think about the critics or the lack thereof, thinking is all that matters. What matters is what is in your hand, enjoy the embers on your palm, enjoy the steps, but create for as long as you can.I don’t know what they meant for the singer, maybe for them it’s something totally different than what I interpretated but well I’m gonna explain you my vision of it. So, I thought it was a good reference to art because they’re talking about how the end is hard to imagine but that the process is exciting. They also say things like « what matters is what is in your hand ». So, I took it as a reference to art and to keep continue doing it no matter if you get criticism.This is the message that Abhijay tried to make me understand. Lately, I’ve had a lot of downs about my editing and I got some criticism and it made me depressed. However, he was there to push me to not give up and it means a lot to me. So, I chose this song because it represents what he has done for me. Editing is a big part of my life and I’m happy he is encouraging me doing it. Also, I want him to know that I encourage him to do what he likes doing no matter what other people say.And for the anime I chose Violet Evergarden because it’s an anime we’re watching together, but also I thought it would fit well with the concept I just describe because Violet is trying to become better at writing letters and she continues even if some people tell her that she can’t write letters with these hands that killed people. So, I tried to show that she was able to help people (at the beginning of the vid I put some people that looked kinda sad and later in the amv they were happy).Sooo yeah idk if it was clear I’m not that good at explaining things but it was important to me to explain what I meant with this vid. One Thing AMV - MDS Contest 2018 Camille 2018-03-10 | Edit: I ranked 9th and I'm sooo happy ^^ I didn't get in but like for me it's a big improvement from the other years I participated so that's enough for me ^^Wow. I made it.I’ve been thinking about doing the mds contest again since like this summer and when I saw that it was the last contest I really knew that I needed to try one last time. Also, they kind of surprised me by organizing it earlier I did not expect that I was not ready I had still a lot of parts to do xD So, in the end I had like around a month to do it but I think I managed it quite well. I have to say that I had a lot of ups and downs with this amv. Sometimes I really liked it and others not but in the end I think its fine. I think it’s way better than the entries I submitted in 2015 and 2017. So, hopefully this time I’ll score higher xDI tried something different than usual, something darker. My other entries were more colorful and stuff. I dont know if MDS will like it but I’m happy with the result so thats what counts right ?Sooo the concept behind it was kind of inspired by the anime itself like you can see it especially where i wrote "he didnt come" and "she hates guys". Because in the anime futaba once says she hates guys and kou takes it as if she doesnt like him so he's sad and he doesnt come to their date and then futaba is sad as well. But what I meant to show is two people broken by love and I used the puzzle pieces to show their broken hearts. I thought about reuniting them at the end, but I thought it didnt really fit the song so I let them broken. Soo I decided to participate into sns contest because well sns is my dream studio (ive been auditionning since 2014 okay im desperate) and they said they could maybe send invitations sooo you know I was interested but tbh I would have participated even if they havent said that because I love sns and I want to improve sooo my goal is to get a better score than Ive got in the past in the auditions. So I auditioned in 2014 but didnt ask for the score so xD In 2015 I got 39.9/60 and in 2016 38/60 (yea apparently I didnt improve) sooo I wanna get better than that I wanna see if I improved and also it was my first time using mainly ae for a vid bc you know I had ae on my comp but I didnt really use it bc I was scared and I was right to be scared bc ae is scary af okay but I hope I did a good job at using it ? I’m not really experienced with it yet but itll come later xD Also I had a lot of problems with ae like lags but mostly rendering problems. My render queue doesnt render correctly and I tried to find solutions but it didnt work. A friend of mine even told me she had the same problem before and she told me how she fixe dit but it didnt work for me:/ So in the end I decided to render with media encoder. But the problem with media encoder is that it doesnt render my motion blur for some reasons. Sooo thats why the motion blur is only present in the intro. Anywayyyy sorry for the long desc but I had a lot of things to say. Back Around AMV - MDS Contest 2017 Camille 2017-04-02 | edit: 28th placeidk how to take that xD didnt think it was that bad tbh but yeaI’m finally done god ;- ; Okay so I started this at like the end of february and did like 35secs of it from there to last Sunday you know I was taking it easy being like oh I have time I can focus a lot on every effect. No cam. It doesnt work like that.So I did the rest this week and rip (thats why theres a lot of raw it annoys me bc I wanted to make a fx amv but okay) I died like 10 times cried 20 times and SV crashed like 50 times. Really fun. Like in the amv theres 4 secs that look kinda bad to me bc SV was lagging to much and wasnt letting me see what I was doing and I wanted to go to sleep so I decided to render it anyway xDBut I would say I am still proud of what I made because I haven’t made an amv like this since 2 years when I participated in the contest in 2015. And I kinda like the result so ^^ I dont think it will be enough to make me get in though xD But when I started doing this amv I knew I wouldnt make it in and also now that ive seen other entries im pretty sure xD But thats okay because I did this amv for myself and I’m really happy with it even though I really struggled in the last days and wanted to give up. SVPros || Shoot for the Moon Camille 2016-07-25 | Hiii! So I wanted to upload my mep part collection but there is still some stuff I can't upload so I thought I would upload the part I did for SVPros's worm mep bc I saw a few people upload it so I thought why not? Also I kind of seem unactive even though I edit 24/24 but this is bc I don't upload my parts xDI kind of struggled with this part too bc at first I used another part of the song that was more slow and didn't fit fx at all. However, the goal of the worm was to edit your usual style and with that part of the song it was kind of impossible xD So I spent all my time editing this wrong part and in the end I decided to just redo it all over but it was kind of too late so I asked for one more day and edited it all in literally a day (thats why it's short even if I wanted to make it longer) Now it seems like I rushed it but I swear I put a lot of efforts into this part.
