Added all new Mortal Kombat 1 Brutalities since September 2023 and searched the web for Secret Brutalities. There's quite a few. For some reason, the video refused to get rendered in 4K, and if I did, I got framerate issues. The end result looks better in 1080p, I hope Youtube doesn't reduce the quality too hard. If I have to complain about the Brutalities: The opponent's head has no physics when e.g. Scorpion pulls it off and the framerate drops often (sometimes, when you cut opponents in half, it can drop to the point where it seems the game is crashing). Also, that annoying loading icon appearing whenever it wants due to permanently connecting with the server! Whenever it appears, the framerate also goes down, as you can see. It's so unpolished.

Inputs & Finishers]MforMovesets2024-04-18 | #mortalkombat #netherrealm #playstation5 Time to kick my channel while it's down with more Mortal Kombat. Ermac DLC. I've heard he's many. Takeda and Homelander left to go (but I bet they will pull a "Mortal Kombat 1 Aftermath" after that and give us another Season Pass. Well, Ermac is cool, but complicated. He has a different flavor than before, and I like that they keep changing styles of characters. Ermac is attacking with three "main" souls (a warrior guy, a witch and a demon). The way he floats is like someone uses a dead body as a marionette and it REALLY irritated me at first. I think my brain needs the walking animation of characters to measure range. He also has a very abstract move, like many other characters in this game: He can stop mid-air with D, B 2, and he can do it forward and backward, which only moves him a TINY bit in that direction. At first I thought I was missing something, checked the trailer again, but I guess it's for very pin-point actions. Generally, it's meant to cancel your aerial actions or confuse your opponent by delaying arial moves. I'm too bad in this game to use it or understand it. A very interesting and unique move is his spirit aura, which he can activate with F, D, B 4. As long as his aura is active, instead of losing life from attacks, he loses meter which seems quite powerful. I also noticed that his Brutalities are very simple. His shrinking Brutality is a Fatality from MK9.

Dramatic Finishes are unique, cinematic cutscenes which look almost exactly like iconic scenes from the anime. They are triggered when certain fighers defeat others with a strong attack (circle on Playstation 4) in a specific stage, and sometimes with specific teammates. They are rather long and thus aren't triggered easily, but it's satisfying when they do. They can't be skipped.

With the recent deaths of mangaka and the sad end of Berserk I really worry for other unfinished manga. Please take care. The characters are loosely sorted by continuity (however, I put GT before DBS because I consider DBS Gogeta and DBS Broly to be a good video finale). I completely recaptured the material in way better quality and added things I missed (which were quite a lot, and I missed a move that was patched in). I also added the character intros this time. Finally, instead of Raging Blast 2 music, I used all the character's FighterZ themes. The old videos will be unlisted.

I've seen quite a few transform-characters by now and A.B.A is one of the least complicated (compared to e.g. Tira from Soul Calibur or Eyedol from Killer Instinct 3). Insert "different hair color" comment here. So all I can say is the obvious: Use certain attacks to full the Jealousy Gauge. The more Jealousy you have, the longer the Jealousy Rage transformation lasts. Jealousy Rage changes her specials and makes her stronger and faster (she basically can't run when not in Jealousy Rage Mode). QCB Square is effective because she instantly activates Rage Mode after using the move, so you can follow-up with enhanced moves. Otherwise, she's an evasion and block heavy character in regular mode, with two evasion moves and a Gauge filling block. So basically, she protecc, but in Jealousy Rage she also attacc.

Inputs & Finishers]MforMovesets2024-02-29 | #mortalkombat #netherrealm #playstation5 Violence, weapons AND cussing, the algorithm will love this... Well, I haven't seen the Peacemaker show, I only know him from Suicide Squad (am I even allowed to write that title?). So I kinda expected him to have a Fatality based on that scene where he infiltrates the camp in the movie. But he seems to be based on the series exclusively, with e.g. a reference to the series intro sequence. He actually has gear, unlike Omni-Man (several helmets). He of course also has palettes but I only use one in this video. His moveset invites to spam, he has a similar stomping move to Quan Chi and Omni-Man but also that full screen flight from Raiden, but also very fast and unexpected projectiles. His shield reflects projectiles the moment it activates, after which it just destroys them. I'm kinda surprised he even came up with a moveset for him. I'd rather play him than MK11 Terminator to be honest. Also his dialogue is great and Cena seemed to have fun recording them... unlike... certain other voice actors.

This video includes movesets from Ninja Storm 4 and Connections for PS5 for comparison. Ninja Storm 4 has some visual differences compared to Ninja Storm Connections: Glowing things had a much more visible glow, like Chakra Mode Naruto and Minato in UNS4. There was lense flair which blocked your vision when the camera was turned to the sun. Electric attacks got enhanced in water, Fire caused burn-damage over time, there was damage on clothes. At the same time, the framerate in UNS4 was really bad, and some boss fights run terribly due to all the effects. Regarding Boruto, the only change between games was that he is now able to use his close range Rasengan in mid-air.
My project files are broken and the watermark was annoying, so I had to completely remake the video. I also had to capture some scenes again and all UNS4 gameplay. It was way more work than expected and the editing takes hours since e.g. the text tool was changed in Adobe.
Note, the Naruto x Boruto Linked Ultimate only worked with The Last versions in UNS4, so the iconic giant Rasengan wasn't possible with the corresponding Boruto costume. They might have changed that in UNSC.

Unlike Omniman he has 6 Brutalities (Omniman has a secret one though) and changing his Gear changes his tattoos, it's almost like he has two sets of costumes. Down Square, Down Circle and Back Circle look like the same attack, but there are differences in damage and range. Head Rush (B, F Square) and Psycho Skull (D, B Square) change when Zone of Power is active and Quan is close to it (D, B X). Psycho Skull appears at the opponent's position when enhanced. Zone of fear (D, B X + R2) stops the opponent like a barrier. Field of Bones (B, D, F Triangle) triggers when the opponent steps on it. What else... oh right his second Fatality is one of the best in the game.

The remade classic characters from Generations onwards had their combos changed. My project files are broken and the watermark was annoying, so I had to completely remake the video. I also had to capture some scenes again and all UNS4 gameplay. It was way more work than expected, so Sasuke and Boruto will be done in January. Naruto can do countless attacks at this point, like his signature Rasengan in many forms and clone jutsu, but also transform into sage mode, chakra mode and demon fox mode, baryon mode (which feels like a downgrade). New stuff: Moveset added from Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, and the Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 videos captured with a capture card instead of PS Share. Note, the Naruto x Boruto Linked Ultimate only works with The Last versions of each character. I used The Last Naruto's secondary costume so he looks like UNS4 Naruto.

She's a projectile spammer, you know, the most fun kind of character in a fighting game... when she misses, the projectile bounces back into the direction of the opponent, but there is a short delay to react. Finally, something I don't have to age restrict... Some info about the more obscure attacks: Darrius interacts with your character, which means you have to stand close to him to get some of his combos to work. Jax can enhance his throw twice, which isn't mentioned in his moveset as far as I've seen. Motaro's "Charge!" makes him attack quickly before your Krushing Blow (Xray attack), turning it into a mid-ranged attack and adding a second hit to its startup. Also, it adds a bit of damage. This can be used by e.g. low range characters to trick opponents. Sareena's ground trap drains Super meter. Shujinko's Kameo meter doesn't regenerate automatically, he has to meditate. While meditating, he's an easy target, so he has some options like meditating in a low position, or getting behind the opponent by running, or teleporting away. The payoff is a quick meter regeneration and him being able to copy two of his opponent's special moves, giving you a ton of options. Stryker's handcuff stun is very short, since it's meant to counter special moves and projectile spamming rather than a setup for attacks. I imagine he's the ultimate anti-projectile Kameo. Sub-Zero's ice armor makes you invulnerable against projectiles. You can't be thrown or knocked down with Tremor's crystal armor.

I prefer her Mortal Kombat 11 design, but I gotta admit, she has some interesting moves, since she uses her queen authority to interact with Kameos. The range of her F + Circle, X kombo can be changed with F or B (I guess in case it misses), I think she's the only character who can do that in a combo. She has several versions of the Hairball projectile (D, B Square or D, F Square) and can stun opponents with Scream (B, F Triangle). Sindel can levitate as usual (D, B Triangle), but I have no idea what's the point of it since she doesn't have specific moves in that stance and can only use Air Hairball or Air Combos anyway. Things like that seem so unfinished... whatever. To the interesting parts. With Inspire (D, B X) she can refill her Kameo meter quicker than usual. With Queen's Kommand, she can hit the opponent's Kameo, stunning him or her and temporarily prevents them from getting summoned or attacking. It can ONLY hit the Kameo! Enhancing that move let's you use the opponent's Kameo once, which is a nice idea.

He's hilarious and quotes movies now, but he's also even more of a jerk. It seems he lost his magical green power and projectile. However, his moveset is unique and his Brutalities awesome. Johnny can grab his opponent right after a throw kounter (by pressing L1) and break his or her arm. An opponent with a broken arm can temporarily not use throws. Annoyingly, there is no on-screen indicator for that effect which should be fixed (among many other things). Johnny can basically do the Gouki/ Akuma teleport as kounter (D, B Square) or regularly (D, F X). His sunglasses projectile is interesting because it goes vertically (F, D, B Triangle). Several of Johnny's specials can be cancelled or ended with Hype, filling his Hype meter. Using taunts (4x D) also fills the Hype meter. Wowing out (F, D, B Circle) is most effective to fill the Hype meter. Once the Hype meter is full, you can activate Hype mode, also by pressing F, D, B Circle. During Hype Mode, Specials can be cancelled into other Specials or Kameos and the Fatal Blow can be done twice in a row, also all Specials are enhanced. Oof. Finally, his Fatal Blow can be delayed by holding L2 + R2, which can be cancelled into a Shadow Dash (D, F X). When his Fatal Blow is fully delayed, it's unblockable. The dance itself also triggers the unblockable Fatal Blow when hit (thanks for letting me know).

Very watered down moveset compared to Mortal Kombat 11, but the important things are still there. He can charge his Electric Orb (D, F Square) by holding Square, which adds up to four projectiles to the attack, similar to Sheeva's fireball in MK11. Shocker (D, F Triangle) can be held, triggering the attack on collision. Mid-Air Electric Fly (B, F X) moves downwards, so the higher you're in the air, the more effective it is. Electromagnetic Storm (D, B X) pulls the opponent towards Raiden, while the enhanced version hits low. I found Lightning Port (D, U) annoyingly hard to enhance. It just wouldn't trigger.

Kung Lao can throw his hat in different ways. While Hat Toss (D, B Square) is a regular projectile where you can alter the direction, Buzzsaw (B, F Square) stuns the opponent, giving you time to gain distance. Shaolin Spin (D, U X) has armor and, when enhanced, can be extended and moved left or right. Soaring Monk (D, B Circle) is an anti-air but also works on grounded opponents. Ashrah is a demon, but uses holy magic to hunt demons, which she combines in her fighting style. She can switch between Heaven mode (default) and Hell Mode (D, B Square). Using special moves in Hell Mode curses the opponent, stacking up to three times. A cursed opponent receives double damage from Kriss attacks (which is her sword) when Ashrah is in Heaven mode. Kriss moves are enhanced and end with a purple explosion during Heaven mode against a cursed opponent, each explosion decreasing the opponent's curse level by 1. For that reason, players need to constantly switch modes. Heaven and Hell mode have different variations of her special moves. Heaven's Beacon is a large projectile (D, F Square) while Hell's Pillar only hits low but its range can be controlled. Light Ascension (D, F X) hits the opponent automatically on collision, while Dark Ascension just has her shift through the opponent. Interestingly, pressing down during Astral Manifestation (B, F Triangle) causes a sword slash to appear behind her, and won't hit while she collides with her opponent. You have to wait for her going through the opponent, then press down.

He can rush in with Charging Pain (B, F hold X). His throws are Pale Rider (F, D, B Square) (normal) and Tactical Takedown (D, F X) (low). He can kounter with Retaliation (D, B Square) but with a rather tight timing. Uniquely, Reiko has a high hitting Xray by holding up while using Xray, grabbing mid-air opponents.

It's hard to describe her fighting style just by showing her moveset, bascially she keeps going through your moves with the Umgadi Dodge (D, F X after charging Guidance also with D, F X twice) and punishes you, which can be quite annoying. Fully charged Guidance also improves her dash range when connecting her Supers with dashes, which is poorly communicated and not even shown in her tutorial, which really sucks for beginners (I couldn't even see the difference). She can fill Guidance not just by using D, F X, but also by blocking in her blocking stance (D, B X). Her blocking stance can be connected to offensive or defensive moves. She has a beautiful projectile though. Other than that, she's a ranged characters with ranged grabs and full screen range specials. And she looks less boring than the original Tanya.

I managed to unlock the stuff despite being incredibly tired. Was it worth it? Pff this will have two digit views. His gameplay is similar to an Injustice 2 character, basically. He can use his specials in mid-air. His most important move seems to be the Viltrumite Stance (D, B X). During this stance, Omni-Man dodges projectiles. When enhanced, he also dodges low and high projectiles and even physical attacks (strangely, not mentioned in the movelist). The stance can be cancelled into standing or attacking. It can also be used for four powerful special moves with a single button press. So basically you try to lure in an opponent, then dodge his or her attacks with Viltrumite Stance and while he or she's open, counter with a special move. Mega Clap (B, F Square) destroys projectiles which probably looks epic when it happens. Like Nitara, Omni-Man can air-dash, with each additional dash being paid with 1 special bar. However, he can only dash forward and backwards.

He's a puppet character but not really. The spirit you can summon (D, B Square) follows you, but can get stuck behind you, becoming kinda useless. It's weird how unreliable the spirit is, which is most effective if the opponent gets stuck between him and Kenshi. Summoning the spirit unlocks several new moves, which look like basic attacks, so I had to double check if it's not just an excuse to make his moveset look larger. I dunno... I didn't have fun at all with his moveset. It's basically, summon your spirit and hope it hits. Looks cool though. You can call the spirit back to your position with D, B Triangle, which can be enhanced. Enhancing the attack resets the timer of the spirit, since it disappears automatically after some time. Holding R1 while pressing attack buttons prevents the spirit from attacking and Kenshi attacks alone with the spirit still active.

Yeah even though I knew 80% of content here is clickbait bs made to get some fine RAID, World of Tanks and Nord VPN cash, but I was STILL disappointed seeing the incredibly lame arcade boss we got, hoping for a slight chance to see Onaga. Anyway: Li Mei isn't a weak anime fighting game woman but has a fierce style. She's a quick, close range brawler but also has projectiles. Her Sky Lantern (D, B Triangle) can be hit with projectiles, causing a large explosion, which isn't mentioned in her moveset at all and I only learned from it from the Triple KO podcast. Weird. Lion's Pounce (Hold F + X) can be cancelled into special moves. Otherwise, can't say much more... besides that her design is a massive improvement compared to the cringe that was MK Deception.

He's not Kahn in Mortal Kombat 1's storyline and doesn't have his iconic hammer yet. Shao plays kompletely different now and several of his classic moves can now be done by Reiko instead, which means I can't main him anymore. He's not too complicated. He's mid-ranged with his axe and low range without it. His Power Strike (D, F Circle) temporarily gets his axe stuck in the ground so he has to fight with his bare fists. The axe can be called back before timeout with D, F Circle which sadly doesn't hit opponents. While the axe is stuck on the ground, Shao can use a low full screen Axe Quake (D, B Circle) which is less predictible for opponents when the axe isn't on-screen. The Tree Chopper throw (D, F Triangle) only works when close to the axe. Axe moves can temporarily be buffed with Dark Energy (D, F Square). Devastator (D, B X) is an anti-air throw with an axe. Without an axe, it doesn't connect into a throw. That's basically it.

Kitana's not with Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat 1 (where is regular Liu Kang anyway?) and allied with Mileena and Queen Sindel. She has the most gruesome Fatality. Her moveset is familiar, mostly projectile-based and she can do her new variations of Whirlwind and Square Wave. Fans can be tossed from different directions and their range can be controlled. Enhancing the fan tosses keeps the opponent suspended in mid-air for a short time. Enhanced Square Wave (D, B Triangle + R2) can be cancelled into arial specials. Whirl Bomb is the classic Whirlwind but got changed into a trap that remains on the ground for a moment (B, D, F Circle).

Inputs & Blood]MforMovesets2023-11-04 | #mortalkombat #netherrealm #playstation5 Shang Tsung's moveset. What a glow-up. Like in Mortal Kombat 11, he still uses claw attacks, but instead of having gloves with claws, he has arm blades now. To combine his classic and current design, he can transform into an old man (which is also part of the story, where he disguises as an old man) with a seperate moveset. Shang's Young Form uses his copy ability, ground spikes and horizontal fireballs, while his Old Form uses vertical fireballs and a throw attack to copy opponents (Injection). His large moveset combined with his copy ability gives him a ton of options. He's so smug and cocky in story mode, just like in MK11, which is highly entertaining. Gotta say though... him and Quan Chi, despite being a reference to MK5, are a really lame arcade boss.

They made him an even worse projectile spammer. Oof. He's Fire God Liu Kang now and has appropriate, flashy moves. Enhanced projectiles are blue instead of red, or another projectile is added to the attack. I don't have anything more to say... all he does is shoot various types of projectiles. Oh, and bicycle kick was replaced with some kind of hurricane kick.

Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com/MMovesetsMortal Kombat 1 - Geras Moves Guide [w. Inputs & Blood]MforMovesets2023-11-03 | #mortalkombat #netherrealm #playstation5 Geras' moveset, or how I call him: Gyros. Fun fact, Geras is a "Gears" anagram for some reason. In Mortal Kombat 1, he's a good guy since he serves whoever controls the Hourglass and way less creepy. Like most characters, he was kompletely changed to use more time-base attacks. He's basically able to use all time mechanic we've ever seen in fighting games, from resetting himself to his previous position, to time stop, to repeating attacks and delaying attacks. When you uppercut a time-stopped opponent, he'll be launched into the air once the time-stop ends. Countdown (D, B X) has do be done three times or once when it's enhanced. Using the command again turns it into Inevitable, a full screen time stop. Unfortunately, there is no on-screen indicator how often Countdown has been used. History Lesson (D, F Triangle) and Follow-Up Exam (D, B Triangle) change their animation and increase in damage if Geras is cornered (History Lesson) or the opponent is cornered (Follow-Up Exam). Redo (B, F X) teleports Geras to his clone's position automatically or when he's hit. Double Time (B, F X+R2) has the clone copy Geras's inputs but the move feels broken, it doesn't really work... it seems you have to use an attack instantly after Double Time for the clone to copy it. It seems to be completely random if it works or not. Fixed Point (D, B X+R) resets Geras' position (and HP!) from 3 seconds ago. Sandstorm throws the opponent either forward or backward depending on his or her position.

Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com/MMovesetsMortal Kombat 1 - Baraka Moves Guide [w. Inputs & Blood]MforMovesets2023-11-03 | #mortalkombat #netherrealm #playstation5 Baraka's moveset. Baraka is also not evil in Mortal Kombat 1 and a really unlikely ally. I liked that approach. His moves are really awesome in MK1, even though I miss the classic Chop Chop. He has the easiest combo in the game (press Circle 6 times). He has several rush-in combos as special moves, like Baraka Barrage (D, F Triangle). During enhanced special moves like Blade Sparks (B, F Square+R2), his blade gets stuck in his opponent, dealing damage over time and increasing block damage. Classic Chop Chop was replaced with Stab Stab, which hits arial opponents. There's a new Chop Chop which is a combo that can be enhanced (B, F X+R2) and also extended (R2) like the classic Chop Chop, but an entirely different type of attack, since it's a rush-in instead of static. His Death Spin (Air D, F Triangle) looks so awesome, I can't stop using it. This might be my favorite Baraka yet.

She's not evil in Mortal Kombat 1 (yet?) and I'm curious what will happen next. She's exactly what you expect and what you got in the previous MKs. Her special moves and combos often end in throws. Mileena can throw her Sais (B, F Square), she can roll (B, D Circle). Her enhanced Sai ends in a throw on hit. Well... what else can I say? It's Mileena, and she's as violent as always.

Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com/MMovesetsMortal Kombat 1 - Rain Moves Guide [w. Inputs & Blood]MforMovesets2023-11-01 | #mortalkombat #netherrealm #playstation5 Rain's moveset. His design was changed to be more wizard-like. Instead of supporting Mileena like in MKX and MK11, he's a traitor in MK1. He's one of my favorite characters in MK11 due to his unique water-based attacks, but I suck at playing him in MK1. Now, he's mostly a mid to far range character. He usually teleports all over the place with Water Gate (D, B Triangle) or uses the Gates for projectiles instead (D, F Triangle+R2), which should be mixed up. His regular attacks are slow but mid-ranged. Ancient Trap (B, F Circle) pulls opponents towards the attack.

In Mortal Kombat 1, he turns evil together with the entire Lin Kuei clan (potentially starting the Cyber Initiative later?). I found Mortal Kombat 11s Sub-Zero really boring and terrible. Here, he's more like the traditional Sub-Zero with his triple ice clones. As the opposite of Scorpion, he can use an ice version of his opponent-tracking ground flame (D, F Circle) which is somehow named Deadly Vapors, which seems wrong. As usual, he can use Ice Slice (B, F X). Triple Ice Klones return and are able to freeze opponents and stop projectiles or Kameo's. If the opponent collides with the first Ice Klone, he or she bounces off it and gets hit by the other two clones.

Smoke's moveset. Similar to MK9, he reminds me more of a traditional ninja than Sub-Zero and Scorpion. He has a ton of very quick close range combos. Smoke seems to be a good character to counter projectiles. His rush in special Vicious Vapors (B, F X) goes through projectiles. Smoke Port (D, B Circle) teleports to the opponent and can be used in mid-air. He can turn invisible for a short time using Enhanced Smoke Bomb (D, B Triangle+R2), which can be effectively combined with his unpredictable teleports. I think his moves look awesome.

Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com/MMovesetsMortal Kombat 1 - Scorpion Moves Guide [w. Inputs & Blood]MforMovesets2023-11-01 | #mortalkombat #netherrealm #playstation5 Scorpion's moveset. Scorpion isn't a spector in Mortal Kombat 1, so he uses way less fire attacks, which might be disappointing to some. He reminds me of the 2021 movie version. Just like in MK11, you can get on your opponent's nerves by spamming Flame Port like the noob you are (D, B X), which also works in mid-air. There's also more focus on his spear (B, F Square) like is should be, since it's his signature attack. This time, it can also be used in mid-air (B, F Triangle) to connect arial combos. Devouring Flame (B, F Circle) hits the opponent from anywhere, which is announced by a rather long animation.
