On October 5, 2023, Veteran radio disc jockey named Jose "DJ Richard" S. Enriquez Jr., has unfortunately passed away at the age of 59. He was best known for playing classical love songs in several radio stations he worked through the years.
In 1985, DJ Richard started his radio career in FM airwaves via Eagle Broadcasting Corporation's DWDM 95.5, before moving to AM radio around 2002.
He began working with ABS-CBN, as the voice over of noontime show “Kalatog Pinggan”. Through his 11 years, DJ Richard is more known for his programs in DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 (now DWPM) such as "Yesterday...", "Moonlight Serenade", and "Songhits: Tunog Pinoy".
After leaving ABS-CBN in December 2020, DJ Richard briefly returned to Eagle FM by hosting "Yesterday's Classics", and later in June 2022, as he transferred to GMA's Super Radyo DZBB 594 for "Golden Memories", which served as his final program.
Following his sudden death, DZBB paid tribute by airing a farewell plug featuring an archival audio of his voice, with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's instrumental arrangement of The Beatles' hit "The Long and Winding Road", which was the closing song of "Golden Memories".
Rest in peace, DJ Richard.

It premiered on January 22, 2023, on the networks Sunday Grande line up.
