1. Turn the filter holder counterclockwise. 2. Slide out the filter from the handle. 3. Knock off the most giant pieces of collected dust. 4. Rinse the entire filter in lukewarm warm tap water. 5. Let it dry overnight until dry inside. 6. Mount back by turning counterclockwise.

FYI: I seldom recommend people to purchase things, and the whole point of this video is 'do-it-yourself.' In this case, I admit that I bought a spare set of 2 filters for 20 dollars because it allows me to finish my vacuum cleaning without having to wait 24 hours for the wet filter to dry.
