Zhang Jiao wants to recreate the Yellow Turban Rebellion, but with the protagonist on his side this time, saying they were close to succeeding. Sima Yi is very dismissive of him.
So now we have a reverse battle where we try to win as the losing side. Zhang Jiao has no other musou officers to use to fill out a 3 man team, so we surprisingly get Zhang Liang as our 3rd team member. He's got the generic sword moveset, but his Musou/Musou Rush attacks are unique. Albeit very simple, he just does a move that looks like it was taken from Xiahou Dun's moveset somewhere. Still, it's cool.
The game gives us 2 minutes to prepare by taking all the nearby bases and summoning your team, but it's hard to do it in time. Then you have an abysmal 30 seconds to get Zhang Liang over to the eastern base to do his magic, but I happened to have him on the west side of the map at the time, so that just wasn't happening lol.
3 Kingdoms rulers appear throughout the stage to try and take you down as you go after the 3 enemy main camps controlled by generics. When you get to one left, they'll all respawn close to your main camp and try to make a charge for it. Aside from the start with those timed mission, the stage doesn't rush you too much so you can take over other bases before going into the main camps one at a time.
