Equipment
Jubilation Spear (ATK 408 / DEF 216)
Gems (Fire / Lightning / Slash)
- Strength +16
- Toughness +62
- Attack Speed +5
- Attack +41% with elemental
- Defense +42% with elemental
- Musou +6/sec. with elemental
- Trigger Attack +43%
- Flow Attack +20%
- Projectile Damage +38%
- Mounted Damage +24%
- Special Attack Damage +45%
- Musou Attack Damage +53%
- Assault Damage +29%
- Elemental Attack Damage +17 during an Assault
- Elemental Attack Damage +1 during a Counter
Accessories
- Heaven & Earth Gauntlets (w/ Allows you to jump at any time while attacking)
- Warrior's Plate (w/ Speed +13)
- Warrior's Plate (w/ Speed +19)
- Pike of Judgement (w/ Restores +2 Health every 1 sec)
So obviously I gave Jia Chong the most aesthetically matching weapon for him, in all seriousness it just has more Attack than the EX version. These short spears should have short reach, but surprisingly a lot of its attacks have AoE or invisible reach so it's fine. His Launch flow attacks are very good and deal tons of damage, make sure to air-dash to do another round for more damage. His Special Attack is very good when you're surrounded, especially by animals, and it has Slash on it so that's always nice. Air Musou is good but ground Musou, as cool as it is (and it's cool af), has a weird hitbox and the final hit doesn't do as much damage as I would've liked but the Musou attacks before the cinematic are very useful due to their massive range.

I pick Gem elements based on the character's Musou and Special attacks.
Why not Musou difficulty? Because it's just a grind fest, not actually difficult. You also get the same experience rewards as Ultimate.
