Dynasty Warriors 8 launched in 2013 and the very next year we got Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends edition, then Complete Edition, then Definitive Edition. Lots of Editions. The big main selling point of 8's Xtreme Legends version is Lu Bu. It would have sold me either way, these games were my crack back in the day. Also shoutout to @Poleskeris for begin absolutely right that Cheng Pu appeared in Dynasty Warriors 9 first. Good on ya, thanks for correcting me.
This is a long running series of games that I love and have been playing since Dynasty Warriors 4 over on a friend's and/or cousin's #PS2. It has been a while. It's easier to say the #xtremelegends version of these games is on everything except handhelds, Xbox and the Stadia. The original is only on #PS3 and #xbox360. The most recent release is the #nintendoswitch in #2018.
