Introducing our 6 Sparx Hawaiʻi Winners from 2025!
This year’s talented and spirited students were flown to Oʻahu, where they received an exclusive tour of the KoAloha ʻUkulele factory before teaming up with the HiSessions production crew to create a music video in the original HiSessions house—where it all began! It was a memorable experience filled with laughter, creativity, and unforgettable moments.

What is SPARX Hawaiʻi?
SPARX Hawaiʻi was created to uplift students in the Keaʻau, Kaʻū, and Pāhoa (KKP) Complex Area schools—encouraging them to follow their passions and carve their own paths in life.
Through dynamic outreach in areas such as music and cooking, we offer students life-changing experiences and highlight stories of those who have found success by embracing their unique journeys.
We proudly partner with DOE schools, the ʻAha Lamakū ʻOiaʻiʻo (ALO) mentoring program, HiSessions, and 9th Ave Studio to provide inspiration, resources, and support—helping students thrive and grow.
