Bryan Kohberger is back in court for his evidence hearing. (January 23-24, 2025) He’s accused of murdering University of Idaho students, Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen and Xana Kernodle in November 2022, in Moscow, Idaho.
Bryan's attorneys want all the evidence in the case thrown out, and they throw the entire pot of spaghetti at the wall to see if anything sticks.
Bryan Kohbergers DNA was found on a knife sheath under the body of one of the victims, Maddie Mogan.
That presents real problems for the defense as it makes it impossible to claim that Bryan Kohberger did not stop at 1122 King Avenue and slaughter four innocent college students.
The DNA bolsters the already 51 Terabytes of evidence against Kohberger, including cellphone pings, and multiple surveillance cameras that prove Kohberger was indeed in the neighborhood of the college students on the night and time of their murders.
Bryan's defense even tried to argue that the FBI should not have picked up Bryan's garbage in Pennsylvania, which, in an effort to conceal his crimes, he put in the neighbors trash bin out on the street. Anybody who watched any cop shows from the 1960's to current knows that once garbage is put out on the street it is given up, no longer owned, not the property of, and is now public property and no warrant is needed for that, so that was a baseless arguement.
Further efforts are made to smear the surviving victims of this horrendous slaughter, based on that on a Saturday night they had a few beers, and then went to sleep. Apparently, according to the defense they should have had their senses about them in order to relay the exact sequence of events. Of course, the attorneys and anybody working with violent crime knows that even witnesses of violent crimes most often go into shock, and eyewitness testimonies are the least reliable.
The entire hearing for two days was a nonstop barrage of b.s. with the sole goal of eliminating the DNA evidence and everything that came after it.
Can you imagine if this defendant is guilty, a burgeoning serial killer, and released once more onto a helpless public.
Please keep this case in your prayers so that these victims receive justice and that the killer is locked up for life.
