Rick is a character and a key part of the side quest "For Your Mind Only" in Dying Light: The Beast, voiced by James Alexander. Kyle Crane searches for a telepathy-capable exile named Rick in Castor Woods. Rick tried to use his telepathic abilities to communicate with and control the infected. His plan failed, and he became trapped and assimilated by an infected hivemind called the "Unity" or the "Swarm".Crane finds Rick stuck to the walls inside a railway tunnel, completely merged with the collective consciousness.The hivemind uses Rick to speak, attempting to lure and amass an army of infected and trying to persuade Crane to surrender his body.
