Most videos only show that DYI power bank charges anything but without even testing its parameters. Sad truth is that most available cheap power bank cases have fake specs and are low quality. So final results are much worse than using ready power bank. The module used in my video seems to be much more reliable. I used 4x 18650 cells taken from an old laptop battery. All of them have similar cpacity - about 1900mA (discharged to 2.9V). Total measured capacity is 23.2Wh what is equivalent of about 7000mAh at the source. LED indicator is very convenient but it is not linear.
