Phrasing inside the pentatonic scale in groups of 5's and 7's might seem like a weird thing to do, but with a little bit of understanding, it can change the way you play guitar! These concepts don't have to be limited to Frank Zappa Freak Outs, you can slip them into your playing no matter which style you're playing: country OR western!
