This is a step by step tutorial for doing the DUTCH SPIRAL STITCH so that complete beginners can create this jewelry, and also more experienced jewelry makers as well because I am sharing several variations on this stitch. I did a simple version with only 11/0 seed beads and then 2 other patterns using delicas and crystals and I showed 3 different ways to finish the ends for endless options for clasps!
As you watch I hope you will see how to create your own pattern of beads and choose your favorite way to taper the spiral down for the clasp, but feel feel to use any of my patterns as well. This is such a fun bead stitch and you quickly get to your desired length because it is such easy beading!
