Ive wanted to cover MiKUSABBATH for a long time, and I got really excited when I finally found a UST for it! Mixing this was very good practice, and I learned a lot. One of the things I did was layer in samples from Rukos CV death bank, most notably on the damn note of the da-da-da-da-damn line, and I think this added something really fun to the sound!
I also went ahead and added in the ah ah ah vocalization thats present in the beginning (and some other places) because it wasnt in the ust, and I think it turned out well.

The source of the original translation/translyrics was tough to hunt down, but the oldest source I found was here. I could have used another translation, especially because this one isnt totally accurate, but I actually like that about it. Instead of going for a 1:1 translation, it conveys the overall meaning and tone of each phrase (even if Utsu-P wrote some niche little details and references in that I dont fully understand).

A long while ago, my friends and I played a sort of masquerade D&D mini-campaign where we based our characters off of some existing figure and everyone else had to guess who/what wed chosen. I picked Dionysus for my character, Dee, and ended up enjoying him so much that I put an animatic together about his backstory (very heavily based off of mythology, of course). Lots of inspiration from Supergiant Games Hades.
