Trials by the Dutch army of the French AMX family (1960). In 1961 the Netherlands would buy 131 AMX-13 light tanks, 345 AMX armored personnel carriers (PRI), and 82 AMX 105 howitzers (PRA). Bad choice. The AMX had many defects. It needed a lot of fuel and extensive maintenance.
