Today my aunt, grandma and i found 3 kittens. Unfortunately, 2 had been killed by a mysterious predator. One survived though, and i held on to it.
Every one, my mom, aunt, grandma, father, stepfather and the humane society said to have it put down. They said the chances of it surviving were slim to none, if the mother wasn't around.
But i wouldn't let it die. And i certainly wasn't about to put it back, and let it get slaughtered like his 2 siblings before him.
So i took it inside and cradled it for warmth and convinced my family to help me get kitten formula. I fed it and continued caring for him with all the tips and details found on google.
(I may post a link on here for anyone who needs to know or is just curious)
Hope was slim for this little guy, considering he was only 2-3 days old and none of us could provide the proper care. But i wouldn't let go. I couldn't give up on him or I'd just never forgive myself.
So with all the little hope and effort i had left, i posted a desperate cry for help on Facebook, and tagged a few people recommended to me by a cat animal shelter. Sure enough, they came through and someone named Deb took him in.
They gave him to a friend who could care and help him until he is old enough to adopt.

He was saved because im stubborn as heck
And i named him Dusty. Bc he was found under a pile of wood in a musty area of dirt and his fur was covered in it when we found him.
I know you aren't supposed to name things when there's a possibility of loosing them but ey look what happened.

So yeah glad i could share this. Im going to do some sort of story about him. Idk what yet or if you guys will ever see it but here's this story and speedpaint.
Save cats guys but research before you mess with them.
