If you grew up on Kingdom Hearts 2 and Jak and Daxter, this one is for you. We tried the demo for Duskfade, a gorgeous new 3D action platformer from Weird Beluga, and it charmed us in about five minutes flat.

You play Zirian, climbing a mysterious Clock Tower to save his sister and lift an eternal night, armed with a sword, a mechanical buddy named Cuckoo, and rail-grinding, wall-jumping platforming through vibrant biomes. The combat still has room to grow, but the vibe is pure playable Pixar. It launches August 13. Does this hit your nostalgia sweet spot?
