The first week of April 2014 saw the release of Dusk's long-awaited debut album, aptly titled "The Debut of Crossing the Lines". Dusk is a magnificent female musician/singer/songwriter born and raised in Athens, Greece. Being an enthusiastic listener with an eclectic taste in music herself, she has managed to create an extremely special fusion of rock and folk music that sometimes incorporates elements from electronica. The album's song diversity spans from soulful acoustic ballads to trembling electric dynamites, all joined together seamlessly by the majestic voice of Dusk. (I used "majestic" to describe her voice for lack of a better word).
Here's a small sample off the album, OMD (stands for One More Depression) which is how a riot grrrl song would sound like through Dusk's musical filters. Discarding the obvious solution of edgy electric guitars, the songwriter builds an underlying tension with a massive bassline, a wave that is released at her command the right moment!

////One More Depression////
Killing time before distraction
A childish act play don't you think?
All your thoughts in such distortion
Seems you've had too much to drink
Homeless thoughts for a sheltered brain
Cherish your feelings away ahead
Feel your life like midnight train
Just don't swallow the truth, not yet
Broken needs, broken knees
Broken everything, everything in me
Empty seats high way streets
No way out to set my mind free...
Landscapes broken like a smile
Lights fading out like memories
All your hopes rise up for a trial
Defending your youths home bravery

![Trentemøller feat. Kazu Makino - Come Undone
Trentemøllers third album, Lost, was released in September 2013. It features many guest musicians and the outcome is a baffling cross-genre masterpiece!
Heres the 9th track off the album, Come Undone, with Kazu Makino (from Blonde Redhead) offering her gentle voice to the song. A soft blanket for the winter, an emotional sanctuary for the hearts that are aching. Its like Bjork singing Paranoid Android, if you ask me...

In 2021, more P.J.Harvey albums in their demo form were released. Among them, 1998s is this desire? where A perfect day Elise was included.
A dirty and fuzzy version of the song, this demo is totally worth listening to while making out.
