No game is perfect. But it's still possible for the whole to be greater than the sum of parts, creating an experience that can still feel perfect. Dusk is an homage to 90's first person shooters, like Doom, Blood, Hexen, Quake, Unreal, Heritic, Marathon, and more. But it's also a game that wants to stand alongside those peers, instead of in their shadow. And Dusk does this by straddling the line between originality/modernity, and highlighting the strongest design of ages past. As such, it's a game that I feel like everyone should try at some point, particularly since it's coming to the Nintendo Switch in a short while.
