Dusk is a first person shooter made by New Blood Interactive, and is a wonderful homage to the boomer shooters we all grew up with such as Blood and Quake while managing to establish its own identity. The badass soundtrack by Andrew Hulshult certainly helps.
Story wise, there's not much you need to know. You are Duskdude, a treasure hunter whose quiet life in Pennsylvania is rudely disturbed by a demon worshipping cult, led by a mysterious omniscient known as Jakob. When he's kidnapped and put up on meathooks, Duskdude was obviously running the Slippery Meat survivor perk as he manages to free himself and promptly goes on a killing spree on the hunt for Jakob.
The opening level is short and sweet, as you'd expect. You can breeze through it in thirty seconds flat, but if you stick around to search properly, you'll find plenty of goodies.
