Duppler: Warsh’s Credit Message Mattered More Than Rates  @markets

Mattie Duppler, Senior Fellow for Fiscal Policy at the National Taxpayers Union, says Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s comments on interest rates were the “least interesting” part of his Jackson Hole speech and points instead to his focus on the availability of credit. Duppler says Warsh offered confidence to markets about credit and liquidity, arguing that message takes on added importance as federal debt tops $40 trillion and the AI buildout creates significant capital needs. She speaks with Joe Mathieu and Tyler Kendall on the late edition of Bloomberg’s "Balance of Power."
