Dungeons of Hinterberg runs through Proton, using the DXVK since it uses DX11 on Windows, the game uses Unity Engine
Performance is great on Linux though, the first dungeon seems to run slightly better on linux than on Windows, altough GPU Temps were very different and could cause Windows to use slightly lower clocks which could cause better performance on Linux.
On the open world areas, performance is way worse on Linux tough.
Dispite I did test and record this video with Proton 9.0-2, Proton Experimental does improve performance even further, fixing the open world area performance, and improving the advantage over Windows.
Regarding stability and visual differences, perfect on both, no crashes, everything works as it should.
So far it's one of the best results I've ever had on Linux compared to Windows while using Proton (experimental is shocking great atm, can't wait for Proton 9.0-3)
