Yes I am also weighing in on the cause celebre of the day (in irrelevant YouTube circles)...the dumpster fire trainwreck that was Sargon of Akkad (aka Carl Benjamin) 's appearance at a conference in America called "Mythicist Milwaukee".
Sargon is a YouTuber that loves making rape taunts at sexual abuse victims, doxing, bullying, acting like an ass to anybody who dares to criticise him, and failing to read and understanding things.
He pushes a constant narrative that anybody who disagrees with him politically (from the left) is an authoritarian, a collectivist, a regressive, an "SJW", and other stupid moronic labels he uses in place of having any comprehension about the world, philosophy and politics.
This conference saw fit to invite this idiot to their conference, and a total mess ensued, as critics had been warning it would.
Here I discuss how he ruined everything, briefly mention another two somewhat controversial (but less so) attendees Armoured Skeptic and Shoe0nHead, and analyse a "drunken" conflagration that occurred outside the event that apparently made sh*tlords (aka paper tigers) scared for their personal safety (*eyeroll*).
Just after filming this the worst modern gun massacre of all time occurred. I almost scrapped this video because it made this issue appear incredibly trivial (and in comparison, it is).
I asked for views from my community and said I should go ahead, but mention this timing. My thoughts are with all the victims (but they should also like...do...something... about guns? Just a thought)
