Originally announced back in 1997, Duke Nukem Forever has had an infamously long development cycle, with multiple delays pushing it further and further past it's initial release date. The game finally released in June of 2011, to mixed/negative reviews, largely due to it's outdated visuals, humor and gameplay.

I quite enjoyed this one, despite it's flaws. I think it mainly came down to the humor, which I enjoyed, plus the gameplay itself was largely solid and responsive enough. Though I am definitely in the minority with this one, as I felt similar about Postal III, which was critically panned across the board.
