Phredreeke has been quietly processing all those tiles from Duke Nukem 3D (and there are a fair amount of them). The tiles are processed using ESRGAN and then manually tweaked.

Here is a quick sneak peek of where the project is at the moment.

NOTE: I made a boo-boo and marked the first Hollywood Holocaust playthrough as AI Upscale, when it was vanilla. Sorry about that!
