Duke student group Desarrolla, which strives to contribute to the development of Latin America by encouraging partnerships between the Duke University community and entities on the continent, organized the event, which was co-sponsored by the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) and the Duke University Center for International and Global Studies (DUCIGS)/Rethinking Diplomacy Program.
