How To Set Up Duet Wifi:

We're now using the Duet 3 Mainboard 6HC on the Workhorse Printer. I'm still documenting all the steps but this is what I have so far.

If you haven't wired a 3d printer before I suggest reading over the Duet3D website to gather more information.
Duet Wifi:
The Duet 2 Wifi is an advanced 32 bit electronics for the control of 3D printers and other CNC machines. It has the same features as the Duet 2 Ethernet other than providing a WiFi connectivity rather than ethernet, full feature description is available in our documentation.

Summary:
Powerful 32 Bit Processor
Dedicated Wifi module
Super quiet TMC2660 stepper drivers, up to 256 microstepping.
High speed SD card and support for a second SD external card if required.
Dual extruders on the main board, up to 5 more extruders on the expansion board.
High Power rating: Each stepper driver is capable of 2.8A motor current, currently limited in software to 2.4A. The bed heater channel is specifically designed for high current (18A).
Connect via PC, tablet or smartphone on the same network to the on board web interface.
Setup your printer and update the firmware through the web interface
All common 3D printer geometries are supported
Expandable up to 7 extruders with Firmware support for mixing nozzles and remapping axes to use high power external drivers.
Support for the PanelDue: a full colour graphic touch screen
Provided with Molex compatible plugs and crimps as well as ferrules for power and heater terminals.
The DuetWifi and DuetEthernet are the next generation of 3Dprinting electronics, designed and manufactured as a collaboration between Think3Dprint3D and Esher3D. This builds on the success of the previous generations of the Duet 3Dprinter controller and the most advanced 3Dprinting firmware: RepRapFirmware. By ordering a Duet WiFi you will be supporting both the Duet hardware development and the continued development of RepRapFirmware.

![XYZ Axis Lead Screw - WorkHorse 3D Printer Build
We just finished CNC machining the Y-Axis components for the workhorse 3d printer. Its fascinating to watch the x and y gantry move with the Igus high helix lead screw with 50mm lead.
https://3ddistributed.com/corexy-3d-printer/
We have to drive the lead screw with nema 23s powered by the Duet Wifi electronics board by Duet3d.
A leadscrew (or lead screw), also known as a power screw[1] or translation screw,[2] is a screw used as a linkage in a machine, to translate turning motion into linear motion. Because of the large area of sliding contact between their male and female members, screw threads have larger frictional energy losses compared to other linkages. They are not typically used to carry high power, but more for intermittent use in low power actuator and positioner mechanisms. Common applications are linear actuators, machine slides (such as in machine tools), vises, presses, and jacks.[3]
Leadscrews are manufactured in the same way as other thread forms (they may be rolled, cut, or ground).
A lead screw is sometimes used with a split nut also called half nut which allows the nut to be disengaged from the threads and moved axially, independently of the screws rotation, when needed (such as in single-point threading on a manual lathe).
