A few months ago I played the Duet Night Abyss beta, and while I only had a few days with it, it had a lot of promise.
In the beta there were a lot of rough edges, but the issues faded into the background because it was FUN to play. They’ve made some changes to the game since then, including BIG changes to the monetisation, and I was curious to see how it would all stack up.
And, most importantly, this time I wanted to actually experience the story, which I didn’t have the time to try the first time around!
This IS a sponsored video, but I’ve made a point to focus on constructive criticism. The game is far from perfect. Pan Studio are committed to listening to the players, acknowledging the issues, and earning trust by fixing them.
That trust can only be earned over time, but for me at least, sponsoring creators who look to provide critique is a signal that they’re taking this seriously.
