Halda Kapoona is no stranger to the outlaw life. She and her wife, childhood sweethearts from some forgotten backwater, built a name for themselves as the leaders of a ruthless swoop gang. For years, they ruled the dust-choked roads of their homeworld, riding fast, fighting hard, and never backing down. But after one too many close calls, they left that life behind—trading blasters for ballads and forging a new legacy on the stage, still side by side.
'Duel in the Desert' is a hard-hitting tale of rivalry and reckoning. In a lawless frontier town, two gunslingers find themselves on a collision course, their fates sealed in dust and lead. As the wind howls through the streets, they face off under the glow of four suns. When the shots ring out, both fall where they stand—just another story for the saloon’s drunken whispers. Long after their bones bleach beneath the twin moons, the town remains, indifferent as ever, swallowing the dead and making way for the next duel.
