Ducks in the Desert! The Sandia Wetlands near Balmorhea Texas provide an important stopover point for many migratory bird species. These migrating ducks, mainly American Wigeons and Mallards were spotted by BRI undergraduate researcher Charlie Musick at the Sandia Wetlands.
