Ducati has officially entered the enduro segment.
Today, we're proud to launch the Desmo450 EDS, a motorcycle engineered from scratch for off-road enduro riding. Conceived, developed, and born for the dirt.
At its core: a dedicated Desmo 450cc engine with smooth power delivery, a 6-speed purpose-built gearbox, Showa suspension with enduro-specific tuning, and advanced electronics, all designed to deliver both performance and intuitive handling in every condition.
Desmo 450cc engine with smooth power delivery: High inertia crankshaft, dedicated piston and camshafts, 42mm throttle body. Precise power, built for enduro from the ground up.
6-speed dedicated gearbox: Purpose-built for off-road use. Not adapted, not borrowed, engineered specifically for the demands of real terrain.
Showa enduro-tuned suspension: Front and rear suspension developed specifically for enduro riding, with a progressive-link rear shock to absorb what the trail throws at you.
Advanced electronics with traction control: Handlebar-mounted map switch and advanced traction control give you confidence and control across every surface, without getting in the way.
21"/18" wheels with Metzeler 6 Days Extreme tyres: FIM-compliant rubber on enduro-spec rims. Ready for woods, gravel pits, and riverbeds, straight out of the box.
