This unique funicular in Dubuque, Iowa was built in 1893. I was surprised to see that there is no back door to the vehicle! Unfortunately when I was there I was limited in time so I didn't get to ride it. I walked up (9 minute vigorous walk) to the top to get some video from up there. I was hoping to ride it down but found an even longer line waiting to ride than the line at the base! I was also traveling by myself so I didn't know if I should share the cabin during COVID. I didn't want to use up a whole train just for me.
