Kill two birds with one stone as they say. I built this and tried it out. Works really good as this mount guides way better then my skywatcher adventure does. I do need to improve the balancing act of it though. The camera is pretty high and that manfrotto ball head is really heavy. You can see in here that I have already drawn up a side by side rail to fix some of these issues. Getting the weight lower down should help a lot. Polar alignment is pretty important though if you are not pointing at the same object as the guid camera.
