Bastian Thusgaard is a Danish drummer who plays for metal bands Soilwork, The Arcane Order and Dawn of Demise. He is also a session musician, an educator and the founder of Blastable Drumming, an online drum school. He started playing drums at the age of 10 and has been influenced by drummers such as Gene Hoglan, Tomas Haake and Dirk Verbeuren. He is known for his fast, precise and powerful drumming style, as well as his versatility and creativity.

The DTX10 series is the flagship of the DTX lineup, combining electronic drums' functionality with their acoustic counterparts' sheer beauty and featuring real drum sounds and room ambience recorded in world-renowned studios.
