The tech stack that I have running to be able to quickly turn around high quality piano tracks for my new classical ecosystem (what's that you didn't know about @tuxedotracks?) will also have application around here.
mixed pro tools audio from my mics + cam input + tablet live screenshare are being aggregated in OBS, no video assembly required.
Still have trouble with latency when playing along to a track, and using this setup means the audio mix is baked in so I can't fiddle with it after the fact. Video is also a little less flexible as well, so for more specific recording and filming projects I'll still capture everything raw and separately to mix and edit, but I'm pretty happy with a couple of my default mix chains recently for faster fun vids! I'll put up a comparison vid sometime.
Prepping for Vilera recording (what's that you don't know about @vileramusic?) and some great third-stream 21st century compositions* in August, but once that's all tracked I'll come back to this!
*seriously, all I see is people still just posting kapustin. we're deeeeep into the 2000's, there's some great options out there.
