Our Office of Mobile Security Deployments (MSD) is the Department of State's on-call tactical operations, crisis preparedness, and contingency support element. MSD teams are ready 24/7 to deploy anywhere in the world. During a crisis, they augment security at U.S. missions and help provide critical support to Americans.
