This What’s New video for 2D mapping and Dynamic Frameworks to Fill®, covers new functionality within the latest 10ep.5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4 updates to the Geosciences Suite. The new updates include the addition of a Complex Geology algorithm to model multi-Z surfaces associated with compressional structural scenarios, coupled with new conformance methods for greater layer interval control within Dynamic Frameworks to Fill® models. Grid and Contour has the added option to generate hybridmesh outputs for higher quality fault polygon mapping, along with a new radial residual fit parameter for tying maps to surface picks. A stand-alone application ‘Residual Fit and Mistie Gridding’ gives a streamlined and iterative method of performing Mistie correction between domain converted seismic horizons via a velocity model and interpreted well surface picks. Collectively, all these updates give the user more tools to create structural models and maps with greater data fidelity, across the spectrum of geological scenarios. New to 10ep.5.4 is the ability to generate a Reservoir Scale Framework (RSF), a high-resolution structural framework which prioritizes well pick data through mistie correction and propagation and allows more velocity parameter control for domain conversion and includes an uncertainty workflow for capturing and calculating uncertainty in the subsurface.
