The left side has better visibility, but since he staggers backwards a couple times you have to reaim. On the right side, you're more in line with him so you shouldn't need to. You also don't risk getting trapped inside the arena even after a quit out, which can happen on the left.
Also the safe area is hella small, so be careful.

Step 1: Walk from the elevator towards the balcony.
Step 2: Roll backwards on the exact frame your last stable position updates to be .01 Miyazaki Units above the floor.
Step 3: Pull the lever, quit out, and reload.
Step 4: Get stuck in a wall or fall to your death pointlessly.

There is an extremely small equip load window (above 25%, below ~25.00001%) where the chained midrolling phenomenon from Remastered works in the original game. I edited the weight of the dagger in order to test this; it remains to be seen if there are any other valid ranges or if that ratio can even be achieved with unmodified equipment.

Make sure you face the pillar straight on; if youre at an angle you may get stuck at the top. Try not to take too long to start the gesture or youll get hit by the arrow; it wont mess up the warp, but taking damage is no fun.
Realistically this strat isnt too useful since you could be doing things on the elevator, but at least it looks cool.")

Titanite juice, dont drink this!
1. Pick up a new consumable (in this case, throwing knives)
2. Flex it into your hair slot
3. This allows you to equip it twice
4. Use it, which fails to properly clear the second slot
5. Pick up any other good with a quantity (in this case, a titanite slab)
6. Itemswap to consume it for literally no reason other than making a stupid meme video")

If you go off the edge such that you slide down immediately instead of getting airborne, you can roll off the slope before you actually land, dodging the fall damage but still saving your position on the floor below. Punching, backstepping, rolling, and even pivoting can all work, but the angles and distances required are pretty finnicky.

If you hit an enemy, wait exactly 69 frames (nice xd) and hit them again, the second hit wont display a damage number or the yellow health bar effect.
